PUTRAJAYA, July 7 — The number of unemployed persons in May this year continued to decline with a reduction of 1.8 per cent to 637,700 persons, from 649,300 people the previous month, according to the Statistics of Labour Force for May 2022 released by the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) today.

PUTRAJAYA, Jan 10 — The number of unemployed persons in Malaysia in November 2021 indicated a declining pattern after registering 694,400 persons as compared to 705,000 persons in October 2021, according to the Statistics of Labour Force, Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 8 — Malaysia’s unemployment rate increased to 4.5 per cent in 2020, the highest rate since 1993 when the unemployment rate was recorded at 4.1 per cent, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM) said.
